Honey, I do not know who posed that question to you. If it was a stranger reading your blog, then the answer would be different than if it is someone in your life.
I am thinking it is someone in your life, and quite frankly, you don't need to answer that question. You share here because it gives you peace and support, and that is not to be judged by anyone, whether they know you are not.
Remember that post you wrote a few weeks ago about standing up for yourself? Now is the time to do that; however, that being said, I don't necessarily believe you need to verbally stand up for yourself, I just believe that you have to embrace why you do this and feel comfortable with it. I believe that you do this on a daily basis, and that is why you continue to share. This is not about being flattering, it is about cleansing your soul and being loved. (which you are, dearly)
Honestly, you don't have the energy to explain yourself to this person, so don't. You know why you do what you do, and that is what matters.

2. ignore it because anyone so insensitive isn't worthy of a reply anyway.
If it's someone you know already and like:
ask them if they'd taken the time to read the whole post. Ask them in future not to leap to conclusions.
